The Star Alliance Airlines & SAA
The Star Alliance Airlines has been appointed as the official network for Input 2008. Delegates will be able to benefit from the Star Alliance Conventions Plus Agreement that includes the South African National Carrier, SAA, as well as the following airlines:
Air Canada
As part of the Star Alliance Conventions Plus Programme SAA will be the Lead Airline.
The network is offering special Convention Plus Delegate Fare Discounts to Delegates as well as accompanying persons. In order to take advantage of these fares the applicable Event Code must be recorded on all tickets by ticketing agencies/airlines.

The following Conventions Plus Delegate Fare Discounts are available to eligible passengers... except for:
a) Travel to or from New Zealand and Japan
b) ANA and Air New Zealand, to which special rules and conditions regarding the Discount apply
Business Class discounts
20 percent for "C" class (Air Canada "J" class)*
10 percent for all other Business classes (exceptions as per applicable fare rule)*
SQ: 10 percent on C/D class on IATA fares
Economy
Class discounts
15 percent for "Y/B" class (Air Canada "Y/M" class)*
10 percent for all other Economy classes (exceptions as per applicable fare rule)*
(* taxes, duties and fees are not included)
The Discount shall not be granted on senior citizen fares and youth fares, agency discount, industry discount, web fares or round the world fares. In the case of Singapore Airlines, the Discount applies only to IATA fares. No discount will be granted for flights between Singapore and Kuala Lumpurand between Singapore and India .
All Discounts offered are valid for international travel on Participating Carriers only. Eligible Passengers shall travel together to and from the Event. Eligible Passengers shall submit proof of attending the Event when making his/her reservation.
As stated above the Discount is not applicable for travel to or from New Zealandand Japan . For travel to/from New Zealandand Japan the following Participating Carriers provide the special offers on their own airline network, as identified below:

Japan: United will provide to attendees of the Meeting(s) a percentage off published fares for round-trip transportation to the Meeting City(s) on United scheduled service to / from United destinations in Australia, Latin America or Asia (excluding First Class) in effect when the tickets are purchased subject to all applicable rules and restrictions. 7-11% based on class of service & season. Contact local United Meetings/Group reservation centres.
New Zealand: United will provide to attendees of the Meeting(s) a percentage off published fares for round-trip transportation to the Meeting City(s) on United scheduled service to / from United destinations in Australia, Latin America or Asia (excluding First Class) in effect when the tickets are purchased subject to all applicable rules and restrictions. 7-11% based on class of service & season.
