THE INPUT ORGANISATION

THE INTERNATIONAL BOARD

At the very heart of Input is its International Board made up of respected broadcasters from around the globe. These are the people who provide the inspiration, organisation and continuity that enable Input to spring up reborn, year after year, in country after country. These are the people who watch over the health and growth of Input. Visit the Input website at www.input-tv.org

NATIONAL COORDINATORS

The next level of Input is the National Coordinators who are appointed by the Board to conduct the work of the organisation at a regional level. Their task is to keep feeding innovative and ground-breaking programmes to Input and to send those programmes to an International Selection Committee who in turn select the best of the best for the upcoming conference.

SHOP STEWARDS

Composed of television professionals from all corners of the globe, the Shop Stewards are a unique group. Their task is to select the best programmes from the hundreds of entries and to arrange the conference screening schedule. The Shop Stewards mix the selected programmes into diverse screening sessions and discussion themes. This then becomes the backbone of the conference.

BROADCASTERS

The host country contributes the conference site, the secretariat, the technical facilities and the volunteers needed to put on that year's conference. In addition, each country puts its own unique cultural stamp on the event.

VOLUNTEERS

The Input organisation is run by volunteers. It is entirely free to make its own decisions. It is dedicated to public service broadcasting and is beholden to no cause, individual, organisation nor authority. For financial support, it relies on its delegates (via conference registration fees), major public television organisations, individuals and various institutions, agencies and foundations.
